This class will use the fundamentals of ballet to support aerial skills! Structured like a ballet class, with exercises at the barre, music to dance to, and combinations. The goals of the class are to improve body and spatial awareness, build ankle mobility and stability, and improve coordination. Pre-req: Socks suggested, movement experience of any kind required. Willingness to dance!

We will be learning to stretch deeply and safely for poses and tricks as well as learn to work with other classmates to do partner tricks. Prerequisite: Bridge chest to wall with straight arms (or close to it) and able to kick up to handstand at the wall for 5 sec.

In this series we will be focusing on some of the most classic skills of tumbling. Cartwheels, rolls, handsprings and much more. Come hydrated and ready to have some fun. BookHand balancing on canes is a classic circus discipline that always adds drama to any show. It showcases the skills of balance, poise, strength and control. It’s a great way to up your handstand training giving you the option to add more skills and tricks to your repertoire. Focus will be on building endurance, skill repetition and gaining comfort off the floor. We will be utilizing handstand benches, blocks and canes. Prerequisites: Comfortable handstand on the wall (45 second hold); Ability to kick into a handstand on the floor. (No balance required); Desire to push your handstand practice.

BookThis all levels class combines floor acrobatic movements (basic tumbling, acrobatic dance, handstands, etc) and partner acrobatics (dance lifts, body balancing) so students can begin putting together sequences. Bringing a partner is encouraged but not required.

In this class we will be exploring flexibility and all of its intricacies. We will be focusing on hip and shoulder mobility splits, backbends, front bends as well as our strength through extension. Prerequisites: standing forward bend with straight legs hands on feet, and ability to push to a bridge unassisted.

How many regrips are necessary? What’s the best direction to spin? What’s the most efficient pathway that is both simple and elegant? In this class students will progress their vocabulary of skills by exploring tricks and transitions on a single point trapeze bar. Multiple options will be given for varying skill levels.

BookThis all levels class combines floor acrobatic movements (basic tumbling, acrobatic dance, handstands, etc) and partner acrobatics (dance lifts, body balancing) so students can begin putting together sequences. Bringing a partner is encouraged but not required.
